Sharp's residential solar cell module "BLACKSOLAR ZERO" won the "New Energy Foundation Chairman's Award" in the Products and Services Category of the 2022 New Energy Award sponsored by the "New Energy Foundation" (supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).
The New Energy Award is a system that recognizes excellent examples of the development of equipment and services related to new energy and the use of distributed energy, with the aim of promoting the introduction of new energy such as solar power.
"BLACKSOLAR ZERO" can be installed efficiently according to various roof shapes with its "roof fit design" that combines four types of modules with different sizes and shapes according to the size and shape of the roof. Therefore, the power generation capacity can be maximized. More power generation capacity can be installed even on roofs with limited space such as in urban areas or on roofs with complex shapes.
In addition, by making all four parts black, a design with a sense of unity is realized. with the joints between adjacent modules becoming inconspicuous and harmonizing beautifully with the roof. This point was also highly evaluated upon receiving this award.
Sharp will continue to contribute to the spread of solar power generation systems and storage battery systems, and contribute to the further creation and expansion of clean energy.
