In the 2023 Summer Best Buy Award sponsored by HiVi, a leading AV magazine published by Stereo Sound Publishing Inc., the AQUOS 4K LCD TV <4T-C50FN2> won in the direct-view display category 1 (LCD, 50" and under), the AQUOS XLED 4K TV <4T-C55EP1> won in category 2 (LCD, 51" to 60" and under), and the AQUOS 4K TV <4T-C65EP1> won in category 3 (LCD, 61" to 70" and under). and AQUOS XLED 8K TV <8T-C85DX1> in Category 4 (LCD, 71" and larger).

The 2023 Summer Best Buy Award selects true “best-buy” models by categorizing AV products currently in the Japanese market according to genre and price range. The selection was made by 11 members (in no particular order), including selection committee chairman Reiji Asakura, a critic active in HiVi and other AV media, Haruo Ushio, Yoshio Obara, Nobuo Kameyama, Osamu Takatsu, Kazutoyo Torii, Hisaaki Hijikata, Yosuke Fujiwara, Koji Yamamoto, Iori Yoshida, and Hiromi Wada.
