Sharp Receives "Superior Award" and "Encouragement Award" at the 72nd Electrical Manufacturers' Engineering Achievement Awards in 2023 by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association (JEMA)

Sharp received the "Superior Award" and "Encouragement Award" in the "72nd Electrical Manufacturers' Engineering Achievement Awards" selected by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association (JEMA) for fiscal 2023.

The "Award for Distinguished Achievement in Electrical Engineering and Technology" is given annually to individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the development of new products and technologies, and who have contributed to the progress and development of the electrical industry.

This year, we received the " Superior Award" for the theme "Development of a service for utilizing the environmental value of photovoltaic power generation/earthquake linked storage battery control service ".

We were the first in the industry to provide a mechanism to return the environmental value generated by each household in the form of a service that improves the convenience of its solar power generation and storage batteries.
Our development of the "Storage Battery Anshin Operation," a power outage countermeasure function linked to earthquake information, was also highly evaluated.

In addition, " Development of Microwave Oven with QR Code Reader ", " Development of ‘Gourmet Cool’, a second freezer with 9-level temperature control ", " Development of Cordless Stick Cleaner with Light Weight and Low Noise", " Development of Plasmacluster Air Conditioner with CO2 Sensor ", and " Development of a centralized management system to remotely manage air conditioners and air purifiers " received the "Encouragement Award".
