Awards

An informational magazine GetNavi focusing on trends and items (published by One Publishing Co., Ltd.) and home appliance and life information website KADEN Watch (operated by Impress Co., Ltd.) jointly held the Home Appliance Awards 2023-2024. Here, Sharp's Fan Type Freezer Gourmet Cool＜FJ-HM7K＞ won the Gold Award in the Second Refrigerator and Freezer category, Plasmacluster Air Purifier ＜FP-S120)＞won the Gold Award in the Air Purifier category, and Water Oven Healsio ＜AX-LSX3A＞ won the Gold Award in the Kitchen Appliance category.

In addition, the Ultrasonic Washer＜UW-X1＞ (ｌaundry & clothing care home appliances category), and AQUOS QD-OLED 4K OLED TV＜FS1line＞ (television category) each received bronze award. Also, the Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner "RACTIVE Air" ＜EC-KR1＞received KADEN Watch special award.

The Home Appliance Awards 2023-2024 was held for the 9th time and nominees are selected by the editors of GetNavi and KADEN Watch after consultation, focusing on hot topics and hot sellers among the products released that year. From these products, the Grand Prix and the products that will be awarded in each category are determined by public voting. The award is presented together with the Special Award of the product recommended by each editors in chief and experts.

On March 27, an award ceremony was held at Restaurant Alaska Japan Press Center(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). The following individuals from the Smart Appliances & Solutions Division attended the ceremony:

During the award ceremony, they made the following remarks about each of the award-winning products:

Yuri Kawamura: “Gourmet Cool, with the concept of bringing deliciousness closer to everyone, has been recognized for its new style of freezer that emphasizes design and a 9-level temperature range. We are truly honored.” – for Fan Type Freezer Gourmet Cool

Yuko Shirado: “Thanks to everyone’s support, we have received the Gold Award in the Air Purifier category for four consecutive years. This time, we challenged ourselves by creating a new suction structure to deliver clean air from households to B to B scenes. While pursuing essential air purification performance, we achieved compactness and low noise. We are extremely honored.” – for Plasmacluster Air Purifier

Yuri Kawamura: “Receiving the Gold Award for three consecutive years is a great honor. Healsio, which has been supported by many customers, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024. Since its debut in 2004 as the first home appliance to use superheated steam for cooking with water, we have continuously proposed new features and services to deliver ‘healthy, delicious, and safe’ dietary lifestyles in response to various societal changes. The Water Oven Healsio , which won the award this time, focuses on ‘auto-cooking’function for daily household chores and ‘Steam Reheat’ to restore store-bought side dishes and bread to freshly cooked flavors. By using Healsio, people can easily enjoy healthy meals and create more leisure time by entrusting daily cooking to it.
