Sharp‘ｓ Plasmacluster air conditioner※1 with the Sleep Support AI has obtained bronze certification of Sleep Support Certification System, which evaluates the evidence of sleep services and products, hosted by the Sleep Healthcare Association.
The Sleep Support Certification System is a certification system where experts in sleep healthcare objectively evaluate whether products obtain reliable data in an appropriate environment based on correct theories, in compliance with the Guidelines for Sleep Service Providers and related regulations set by the Sleep Healthcare Association. Products that meet these criteria are allowed to use the certification mark.
The certification is granted based on comprehensive deliberation by an evaluation committee composed of external experts established by the association, using data that supports the positive impact on the sleep of healthy general consumers, sleep products, sleep services in the healthcare field, or methods that measure sleep accuracy highly.
The Sleep Support AI was recognized for developing control that reproduces the content of already recognized papers on sleep and temperature-humidity environments, and for verifying its effects based on a proper experimental plan.
