▲ The AQUOS OLED 4K OLED TV, winner of the Grand Special Prize at VGP2025
In the VGP2025, one of Japan's largest comprehensive awards for audiovisual equipment, sponsored by Ongen Publishing Co., the AQUOS OLED <GQ1/GQ2 Line> 4K OLED TV, won the Grand Special Prize. <GQ1/GQ2 Line> was praised for achieving both high image and sound quality through the "AI Auto" mode enabled by the "Medalist S5" image processing engine and the front-facing height speakers tilted at 20°.
In the category awards, six products received Gold Prize: AQUOS QD-OLED <4T-C55GS1> 4K OLED TV, AQUOS OLED <4T-C42GQ2> 4K OLED TV, AQUOS XLED <4T-C65GP1> <4T-C50GP2> <4T-C43GP2> 4K mini LED TVs, and the wearable neck speaker AQUOS Sound Partner <AN-SS3>.

VGP is Japan's largest and most prestigious comprehensive award for audiovisual equipment, launched in 1987. VGP is a comprehensive award for audiovisual equipment, the largest of its kind in Japan, which was launched in 1987. It covers "audiovisual products" such as 4K OLED/LCD TVs and Blu-ray recorders, "pure audio products" such as speaker systems and audio players, and "lifestyle products" such as earphones/headphones, wireless speakers, smartphones, and PCs. The VGP judges, consisting of 10 critics who are active in numerous media such as specialized magazines, as well as leading retailers nationwide, vote and judge the best-selling products, taking into account not only outstanding equipment performance but also market trends.
