AQUOS QD-OLED <4T-C65FS1> Sharp’4K OLED TV, won the Silver Award at the 40th HiVi Grand Prix 2024, sponsored by HiVi, a leading AV magazine published by Stereo Sound Publishing Inc.
HiVi Grand Prix 2024 is one of Japan's largest and most prestigious awards for all audiovisual (AV) products released in the year 2024, selecting the best products that led the AV scene in that year. The award was selected by a panel of seven judges, including Reiji Asakura (selection committee chairman), Haruo Ushio, Yoshio Ohara, Kazutoyo Torii, Yousuke Fujiwara, Koji Yamamoto, and HiVi's editorial staff.
The awarded AQUOS QD-OLED <4T-C65GS1> 4K OLED TV features the latest generation of Quantum Dot OLED(QD-OLED) panels, which converts blue light from OLED into the three primary colors (red, green, and blue) with high purity by wavelength conversion in the quantum dot layer to produce a variety of vividly reproduced colors. Real-time analysis of the state and temperature distribution of the OLED emission layer enables precise control of the emission amount, leading to enhanced brightness. It has been highly praised for delivering immersive imagery with rich color expression and high contrast as a next-generation visual quality.
