An informational magazine "GetNavi" focusing on trends and items (published by One Publishing Co., Ltd.) and home appliance and life information website "KADEN Watch" (operated by Impress Co., Ltd.) jointly held the "Home Appliance Awards 2024-2025". In this Award, Sharp's "Plasmacluster Circulator" <PK-18S01> won Gold in the Fan/Circulator category. The Plasmacluster Clothing Dehumidifier <CV-SH150> won Gold in the Dehumidifier category, and the Plasmacluster Humidifier <HV-T75> won Gold in the Humidifier/Heater category.
In addition, four products earned Silver and two won Bronze awards, exceeding the results in the previous year.
Marking its 10th year, the "Home Appliance Awards" nominates 200 products annually, with winners selected through reader votes.
The award ceremony was held on March 10 at Hilton Tokyo (Shinjuku, Tokyo). Yuki Matsumura, Senior Manager, PCI Product Planning Division, Plasmacluster･ Healthcare Business Unit, Smart Appliances & Solutions BU(SAS), attended on behalf of Sharp.
At the ceremony, he commented on each awarded product as follows:
Plasmacluster Circulator <PK-18S01>
"This was our first entry into the circulator market. We focused on high airflow with quiet operation, integrated high-density Plasmacluster NEXT technology for clean air, and adopted a fabric-inspired design. After three years of effort, we've finally developed a product that meets my expectations. We’re honored to see our dedication recognized and will continue to innovate new products."
Plasmacluster Clothing Dehumidifier <CV-SH150>
"Sharp’s full lineup includes compressor, desiccant, and hybrid models. This comprehensive approach has gained strong customer support. The awarded hybrid model performs consistently all year round, making it popular for frequent indoor drying. Once you use a dehumidifier, you can’t go without it. We hope more users try it to solve drying and odor issues. Sharp will continue to develop products that meet customers’ needs."
Plasmacluster Humidifier <HV-T75>
"This product features 'dual water filling'—either from the top or with a tray—making it very user-friendly. We have received customers’ feedback it reduces the stress of refilling. It’s been seven years since we developed this feature, and we are honored to receive this award for the second time. Sharp will continue to focus on ease of use in future products."
