  • Sharp Honored as a Top Electronics Organization on 2026 Fortune World's Most Admired Companies List for 5th year

Sharp Corporation is proud to announce that Sharp has been named to the Fortune World's Most Admired Companies list, marking the company's 5th year on the annual ranking. Sharp ranked #9 in the Electronics industry, underscoring the company's respected position in the market and positioning it among the world's leading global technology firms.

The Fortune World's Most Admired Companies list is an annual ranking that recognizes organizations with the strongest corporate reputations across a wide range of industries. Produced by Fortune in collaboration with Korn Ferry*1, the rankings are based on extensive feedback from corporate executives, outside directors, and industry and financial analysts.

The evaluation covers companies from the FORTUNE 1000 and Global 500, as well as leading companies outside the United States. Eligible companies generally have annual revenues of approximately USD 10 billion or more and are considered top performers within their respective industries. From an initial pool of approximately 1,500 companies, the list is narrowed down by industry and revenue to a final selection pool of 685 companies across 29 countries, from which 324 companies spanning 51 industries are ultimately selected.

Approximately 3,000 respondents participate in the survey each year. Companies are assessed across nine key criteria, including innovativeness, quality of management, quality of products and services, long-term investment value, financial soundness, ability to attract and retain talent, community responsibility, wise use of corporate assets, and effectiveness in running a global business. Organizations that receive the highest overall evaluations are recognized annually on the list.
