There
is a considerable difference between amplifiers that process analogue
signals and those that process digital signals. Analogue signals transmitted
and amplified by analogue amplifiers suffer signal noise and degradation
due to their nature. 1-bit amplifiers, however, transmit and amplify
a pure 1-bit digital signal generated by a 7th-order (delta-sigma)
modulation 1-bit A/D converter. Processing digital rather than analogue
signals, 1-bit amplifiers virtually eliminate the sound deterioration
that plagues analogue amplifiers. By taking full advantage of digital
technology, 1-bit amplifiers achieve high-quality, stunning sound.
