Motion Sensor Technology
The CHU Series features a built-in Motion Sensor that optimizes comfort and efficiency by monitoring human activity in the room. If no movement is detected for a set period, the system automatically adjusts cooling or heating to conserve energy. Once movement is detected, it quickly restores the original settings, ensuring the room returns to your preferred comfort level without delay. This smart function provides consistent comfort while minimizing unnecessary energy use. (CHU Variant Only)
Single & Multi-Zone Configuration
Available in both single-zone and multi-zone configurations, the
system provides flexibility to meet a wide range of needs. A single-zone setup efficiently
conditions one specific room or area, while a multi-zone option allows up to three indoor units
to connect to a single outdoor unit. This adaptable design makes it easy to create tailored
comfort solutions for homes, offices, and commercial spaces.
The illustration shows a configuration using three AY-XPC12CU indoor
units paired with one AE-X3M24CU outdoor unit.
The AE-X3M24CU outdoor unit is designed for multi-zone configurations. Please refer to the
specifications for other possible combinations.
Maintain with Ease
The new CHU/CU heat pump is thoughtfully designed for easy maintenance, helping you keep it in top condition with minimal effort. The air filter can be removed in seconds and cleaned with a simple hand vacuum about once every three months. For deeper cleaning, the top panel of the unit can also be detached effortlessly, allowing convenient access to interior components. A quick wipe with a soft cloth keeps the entire indoor unit looking fresh and dust-free.
Coanda Airflow Technology
With Coanda Airflow technology, the unit delivers smooth, far-reaching airflow that spreads evenly throughout the room. It maintains strong air delivery up to 50 feet (15 meters), providing consistent cooling and heating to every corner.
Tested for Harsh Cold Climate
CHU/CU series units are carefully engineered to deliver stable performance even under extreme weather conditions. Each model undergoes rigorous testing to ensure reliable operation in harsh environments, including freezing temperatures down to -30°C. Designed with durability and consistency in mind, the system provides dependable heating throughout the coldest seasons while maintaining comfort indoors. This combination of advanced engineering and strict quality control ensures long-lasting performance you can rely on year after year.
Keep the Inside Clean
With the AFTER CARE feature, your unit stays clean and efficient with little effort. After each use, the indoor unit runs in fan mode to gently dry its interior, reducing odors and preventing mold. This simple process helps maintain consistent airflow, long-lasting performance, and a fresher indoor environment—without the need for frequent manual cleaning.
