The 2023 Winter Best Buy Award selects true “best-buy” models by categorizing AV products currently in the Japanese market according to genre and price range. The selection was made by 11 members (in no particular order), including selection committee chairman Reiji Asakura, a critic active in HiVi and other AV media, Haruo Ushio, Yoshio Obara, Nobuo Kameyama, Osamu Takatsu, Kazutoyo Torii, Hisaaki Hijikata, Yosuke Fujiwara, Koji Yamamoto, Iori Yoshida, and Hiromi Wada.
