In the 2025 Winter Best Buy Awards sponsored by HiVi, a leading AV magazine published by Stereo Sound Publishing Inc., three AQUOS television models have been awarded first place.
The award-winning models are:
- 4K mini LED TV “AQUOS XLED” <4T-C50HP2>, ranked No.1 in Direct-View Display Category 1 (LCD, 50 inches and below)
- 4K mini LED TV “AQUOS XLED” <4T-C75HP1>, ranked No.1 in Direct-View Display Category 4 (LCD, 71 inches and above)
- 4K OLED TV “AQUOS QD-OLED” <4T-C65HS1>, ranked No.1 in Direct-View Display Category 7 (OLED, 61 inches and above)

The 2025 Winter Best Buy Award selects true “best-buy” models by categorizing AV products currently in the Japanese market according to genre and price range. The selection was made by 10 members (in no particular order), including selection committee chairman Reiji Asakura, a critic active in HiVi and other AV media, Haruo Ushio, Yoshio Obara, Nobuo Kameyama, Kazutoyo Torii, Hisaaki Hijikata, Yosuke Fujiwara, Tadashi Yamanouchi, Koji Yamamoto, and Iori Yoshida.
