In the 2026 Summer Best Buy Awards organized by HiVi, a leading AV magazine published by Stereo Sound Publishing Inc., the following three models won first place in their respective direct-viewing display categories:
- AQUOS XLED 4K mini LED TV <4T-55X9A> in Category 1 (LCD, 60 inches and below)
- AQUOS OLED 4K OLED TV <4T-48S9A> in Category 4 (OLED, 50 inches and below)
- AQUOS OLED 4K OLED TV <4T-77S9A> in Category 6 (OLED, 61 inches and above)
The 2026 Summer Best Buy Awards select the true "best buy" models by categorizing AV products currently available in the Japanese market according to genre and price range. The selection was made by nine critics active in HiVi and other AV media: selection committee chairman Reiji Asakura, Yoshio Obara, Nobuo Kameyama, Kazutoyo Torii, Hisaaki Hijikata, Yosuke Fujiwara, Tadashi Yamanouchi, Koji Yamamoto, and Iori Yoshida (names listed in no particular order).
