2004 LC-45GD1 45V-Inch Terrestrial/BS/CS110° Digital High-Definition AQUOS LCD TV

In August 2004, Sharp released 45V-inch AQUOS LCD TV, the world's largest digital high-definition LCD TV (at the world). It was developed under Sharp's New AQUOS Platform, combining a full-HD LCD panel (1,920H x 1,080V pixels: one of the best resolutions at the time of release) and technologies, such as a new panel driver for the high-efficiency LCD drive engine and a one-chip digital high-image-quality LSI for the digital image processing engine, designed to maximize the performance of the LCD panel. This resulted in highly detailed digital HD pictures on an impressively large screen. This TV also gained attention for coming from Sharp's Kameyama Plant, the world's first production facility for the integrated production of LCD TVs, handling everything from panel production to final assembly.
