2003 ES-DG703 Ag⁺ Ion Drum-Type Washer/Dryer

This ES-DG703 was the first drum-type washer/dryer to have Sharp's Ag⁺ (silver) ion disinfecting/deodorizing technology built in. Ag⁺ ions prevent the growth of bacteria that make clothes smell musty and that are the source of offensive foot and underarm odors. The disinfecting/deodorizing effect lasts until the next wash. A new 60-minute wash/dry cycle finished washing and drying in just one hour, which was the shortest cycle in the industry at the time.
