2010 SJ-XF52T/XF47T/XF44T/XW44T Plasmacluster Refrigerators

Sharp introduced these CFC-Free Plasmacluster Refrigerators that use Plasmacluster Ion technology to not only remove bacteria and other microorganisms inside the unit*1, but also powerfully neutralize the odors that commonly occur in refrigerators. These models feature a newly developed Plasmacluster Deodorizing/Sterilizing System in the refrigerator section that, in addition to removing airborne mold fungi and adhering bacteria, decomposes and eliminates unpleasant airborne odors produced by many food items. The cold air ducts on the backside of the refrigerator compartment are lined with a newly developed foam insulation material that resists penetration and build-up of odor particles, greatly reducing the occurrence of characteristic refrigerator smells. In addition, a new e-Cool System based on an evolution in Sharp's proprietary energy-saving technologies, as well as a high-performance compressor and high-efficiency freezing cycle, provide outstanding energy efficiency. Plus, a Crisping Vegetable Drawer featuring a newly developed high-humidity shield design nearly doubles the percentage of moisture retained by fruit and vegetables compared to the previous model*2, further improving the freshness-keeping effect.
