NetWise®, a modular network architecture used in the AR-PE2 print controller, allows the AR-C160 to be introduced in any network (including mixed OS environments). The AR-PE2 supports 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet standards and TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and AppleTalk protocols.

The FieryScanTM utility lets you use the AR-C160 as an A3 (11" x 17"), 600 dpi colour scanner with any client PC on the network. In addition, a Scan to HDD function allows you to retrieve, edit and save scanned documents that are stored in the print controller. |  |
