- Easy-to-Use Interface
- Operating the MFP is easy and intuitive with the full-flat 4.0-inch colour LCD touchscreen. The function icons incorporate a simple, straightforward design.
- Information LED
- Next to the control panel is an LED lamp that lights up in blue or orange. It notifies you—even from a distance—of the status of the MFP.
- Automatic Document Feeding (BP-22M31/22M28/22M24/22M22)
- The RSPF (reversing single pass feeder) efficiently feeds in either one- or two-sided originals—in batches of up to 100 sheets. With a scanning speed of up to 38 opm*1 (one-sided), the MFP can complete large jobs with ease and efficiency.
- Wireless LAN Connections (option)
- Wireless connectivity enables easy access from mobile devices and flexible MFP placement. The MFP also supports Wi-Fi Direct® and Wi-Fi Protected Setup™.
- Link Mobile Devices
- Mobile devices installed with the Sharpdesk Mobile application*2 can connect directly to the MFP for printing or downloading scanned data. The MFP also supports AirPrint and the Sharp Print Service Plugin.
- Handy Copier Functions
- The MFP comes standard with such image-editing functions as ID card copy, margin shift, edge/centre erase, and dual page copy—all of which make copying more convenient.

- The MFP delivers razor-sharp 1,200 dpi printing. Detailed graphs, fine lines, and small text come out crisp and clear.
- PostScript 3 Emulation
- The MFP comes standard with PostScript 3 emulation. This enables printing from a wide range of devices and improves how the MFP processes fonts and graphics. Text and images are handled as vector graphics, so they won’t become jagged or blurry when scaled up or down. And high-quality font rendering enables small fonts to be printed out clearly.
- USB Drive Direct Printing/Scanning
- At the front of the MFP is a USB port*4 for printing directly from or scanning directly to a USB drive—perfect when you need quick access without a PC. Simply insert a USB drive into the USB port and a command screen will automatically pop up on the LCD.
- Online Firmware Updates
- The MFP’s firmware can be automatically updated—without the need for service operation—via a firmware update service. That way you’re always using the latest system for your MFP.
- Solid Security
- A range of security features keep your information safe, both on the MFP and across your network. There’s user authentication, data encryption and erasure, TLS 1.3/SMB 3.1.1 support, and a Confidential Print feature for up to 100 print jobs. Confidential Print holds your print job until you enter a PIN code at the MFP.
