introduction of the world's first 1-bit direct coupling.
An exclusive feature, SHARP's 1-bit direct coupling transmits SACD's 1-bit
signal stream directly from the DX-SX1 to the SM-SX1 or SM-SX100 by a special
13-pin cable. The recording studio experience is brought to your listening
room; pure and unfiltered as it was meant to be heard. The high quality
1-bit signal can not be recorded and is only transmitted from the cable
when both the 1-bit amplifier and SACD player recognise each other, thus
protecting copyrights while delivering the highest quality sound possible.
