SHARP's 1-bit
amplifiers are capable of accurately reproducing all the sound of the natural
world. Sampling analogue signals at 2.8224 MHz, a frequency far exceeding
the audible range of humans, the SM-SX1 and SM-SX100 can produce a frequency
range of 5 Hz -- 100 kHz (+1 dB/-3 dB). Employment of a 7th-order delta-sigma
modulation ensures wide dynamic ranges, 100 dB (10 Hz --20 kHz) for SM-SX1
and 105 dB (5 Hz --20 kHz) for SM-SX100. High fidelity sound with excellent
transient characteristics -- this is what SHARP's 1-bit amplifiers offer
and this is what the audio world has been waiting for.
The SM-SX1 and SM-SX100 are equipped with the highest quality parts and
materials. They theoretically eliminate sound deterioration in circuits
for bit stream signals, resulting in greater quality sound than conventional
analogue amplifiers. Even where sections are required to deal with analogue
signals, materials and parts have been carefully selected to minimise sound
deterioration.
