The perfect companion
to the SM-SX1 or SM-SX100, SHARP's DX-SX1 is a 2-channel stereo SACD/CD
player with exceptional CD playback and is compatible with future multi-channel
SACDs. Capable of playing back SACDs with a wide frequency range of 2 Hz
-- 100 kHz and a wide dynamic range of 105 dB, the DX-SX1 reproduces all
the sounds in nature and recreates the performance space atmosphere. SHARP
paid particular attention when designing the DX-SX1's parts and mechanisms.
SACDs have a data capacity 6 times that of CD and its data transfer rate
is 4 times faster. To guarantee that the signal stream transmitted to the
1-bit amplifier is a perfect reproduction of the master recording, the highest
quality parts and thorough countermeasures against vibration and noise have
been employed.
