Multi-Platform Support

These copier/printers can be used in most PC environments. The optional AR-PB8 Printer Expansion Kit includes the IEEE 1284 bi-directional interface and employs PCL® 6 emulation, allowing you to print from Windows® 3.1x/95/98 and Windows NT® 4.0 systems. PostScript® Level 2 emulation is available by adding the optional AR-PS1. Mac OS 7.5 and later is also supported.* *Optional AR-PB8, AR-PS1 and AR-NC3D are necessary.

High Performance Printing

To increase the speed and efficiency of your printing tasks the AR-205/200/161/160 feature a 133MHz high-speed 64-bit RISC processor. The standard 8MB of memory is upgradable to 136MB for smoother printing.

Print Server Card

The optional AR-NC3D Print Server Card enables direct connection to a PC network. Connecting directly to the internal bus of the copier rather than the parallel port allows for easier network connectivity. The AR-NC3D supports 10Base-T/100Base-TX for heavy network traffic.

Peer-to-Peer Printing

AR-205/200/161/160 also support Peer-to-Peer for printing without a server.
