Terms of Use for "SHARP COCORO HOME"
for Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and BangladeshThis Terms of Use for "SHARP COCORO HOME" (the "Terms") describes the user conditions upon which you ("Customer", "Customers" or "you") use the services providing by Sharp Corporation ("SHARP"), a Japanese corporation (the "Service" or "Services"), including the services to be provided by using the various functions achieved by linking this App (as defined below) to the Applicable Devices (as defined below), and provided to Customers who own Applicable Devices by means of the App supplied for Terminals (as defined below). The interconnection among Applicable Devices and the Services is realized using the AIoT LINC Platform (as defined below). For using this Service, you shall read and understand the details of this Terms and agree to them before use.
Article 1 (Objectives)
This Terms describes the user conditions upon which you use this Service. In downloading the App and using this Service, you shall agree to this Terms. Further, by agreeing to this Terms, you acquire the non-exclusive rights to use this App without charge.
Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)
The terms used in this Terms are as defined below.
- "AIoT LINC Platform" means a service provided by SHARP that enables interconnection among devices and services of different companies by utilizing usage data obtained from home appliances and devices.
- "App" means "SHARP COCORO HOME" application provided by SHARP for Terminals, which provides an integrated environment for centrally managing and using Applicable Devices.
- "Applicable Device" or “Applicable Devices" means air purifiers and refrigerators manufactured by SHARP that the Customer can use by registering as a user with the Service(s). Details regarding the models eligible for registration for use with the Service(s) and the methods for registering such models are available on The Support Site.
- "Content" means prose, text, audio, images, videos, and other information.
- "Home Screen" means a screen within the App on which a list of Applicable Devices registered by the Customer with the Service(s) is displayed.
- “MEMBER ID" means the member ID, which is the name specified by the Customer during member registration to distinguish between users, combined with the password to authenticate the individual Member together with the member ID.
- "Related Applications" means SHARP's applications for Applicable Devices. When the Customer registers the Applicable Device with this Service, the application for such Applicable Device shall be automatically registered in the service list of App.
- "Server" or "Servers" means the server systems managed either by SHARP or a SHARP contractor.
- “SHARP MEMBERS" means membership site operated by SHARP to provide various services to Customers who are using SHARP products.
- "Supplied Content" means the Content supplied by SHARP via this Service, including, but not limited to, information from registered Applicable Devices and registered Related Applications.
- "Support Site" is a support site for the Services operated by SHARP, and means the site displayed using the following URL: https://global.sharp/smartapp/home/as/
- "Terminal" or "Terminals" means devices that store and display the App, such as smart phones, tablets, etc.
- "Timeline" means a screen (interface) within the App provided by the Service(s), on which Supplied Content is displayed in chronological order.
- "User Registration" means the settings for the Customer to use Applicable Devices in conjunction with the App according to the descriptions in the user manuals for the Applicable Devices.
Article 3 (Details of the Service)
The details of the Services are as defined below. Further, the Service(s) cannot be used unless log-in by MEMBER ID and the registration of use of an Applicable Device has been completed.

You may use the following functions by User Registration.
- Viewing usage log of Applicable Devices.
- Posting, on the Timeline, information input into Applicable Devices through key operations or screen operations of such Applicable Devices.
- Notification to Applicable Devices and Related Applications of information selected, input, or generated through this Service
- Selection of operations proposed by the Service or operation of Applicable Devices through the Service.
- Operation of Applicable Devices through this Service.
- Software updates for Applicable Devices.
SHARP may perform updates of programs and other components intended to improve the functions and performance of Applicable Devices (hereinafter called "Updates").
- External Link services
- Customers can operate Applicable Devices using voice commands, etc., from external services by logging in using the same SHARP MEMBERS authentication information as the App on an external device compatible with suitable device linking, and linking the external Service to an Applicable Device registered to the App. (Hereinafter called an "External Link Service".)
- Check with the Support Site or external service site for the names of external services that are compatible with linking to Applicable Devices, and details such as Applicable Devices that can be operated from external services and their settings details, as well as their operable details, etc.
- Use of External Link Services and the necessary device preparations, etc., are at the Customer's own expense and responsibility.
- Other Services concomitant with the use of the Services regulated above
Further, Services may be changed or added to the Support Site at any time. Check the Support Site for details.
Article 4 (IDs and Passwords)
- To use this Service, you shall register to SHARP MEMBERS and get the MEMBER ID and password (collectively called your "MEMBER ID, etc." hereinafter).
- You shall take full responsibility for the management and use of your MEMBER ID, etc.
- You shall specify the main address registered as your MEMBER ID as the mail address for receiving notices and communications from SHARP. The notices or communications from SHARP sent to the relevant e-mail address shall be deemed as expressing intentions or communicating facts from SHARP to you.
- You shall never allow a third party to use your MEMBER ID, etc. The use of your MEMBER ID, etc., with this Service shall be deemed as use of the Service by you in possession of such MEMBER ID, etc.
- If you discover that your own MEMBER ID, etc., or Terminal has been stolen, lost, or used by a third party, you shall inform SHARP immediately and follow any instructions given by SHARP.
- SHARP cannot be responsible for any damages incurred by the Customer or any of the Customer's responsibilities to a third party due to the unpermitted use of IDs, etc.
- You shall not give or lend your MEMBER ID, etc., to a third party. Further, your rights based on this Terms are not transferable.
Article 5 (Compliance with the SHARP MEMBERS User Agreement)
- You shall comply with the SHARP MEMBERS user agreement. Use the following URL to check the SHARP MEMBERS user agreement.
- If any items in this Terms differ from the SHARP MEMBERS user agreement, this Terms shall take precedence.
Article 6 (Handling of Personal Information, Use Information, and Sensor Information, etc.)
For the handling of personal information, use information, and sensor information, etc., acquired by SHARP in providing this Service, see the separately-defined "Privacy Notice for SHARP COCORO HOME". Upon using this Service, you shall agree to accept the "Privacy Notice for SHARP COCORO HOME".
Article 7 (Using the Service)
- Customers may use the Service without charge.
- Regardless of Paragraph 1, charges may be levied for the Services depending on the Service provided either by SHARP or a third party. If using a charged Service, first you shall agree to the user agreement for the charged Service as determined separately either by SHARP or a third party.
- For using the Service, there is a limit to the number of Applicable Devices that can be registered for use. Further, the details of the Services that can be used depends on the models of the Applicable Devices.
Article 8 (Devices and Communications Costs, etc., for Using the Service)
- Customers shall bear all costs and responsibilities for preparing the Applicable Devices, Terminals, wireless LAN devices, communications lines, and other devices required to use the Service.
- The Customer shall bear all the internet Service provider fees and the sundry costs necessary for communications to use the Service. In addition, after registering with the Service, the Applicable Devices shall connect to the internet and access the Servers automatically via a wireless LAN device. Further, if using the Service via a communications line for mobile phones, etc., the Customer shall be responsible for all packet communications costs. If using such a method, joining a fixed-costs packet communications service is recommended. SHARP shall bear no responsibility for interruptions to the Customer's use of Service due to malfunctions in the devices or internet connection, etc.
Article 9 (Service Use Area)
The area to which the Service is provided shall be all of the following: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, Bangladesh and India. The Service cannot be used in any other countries.
Article 10 (Broadcasting Information and Advertising)
SHARP may have your Terminals and/or Applicable Devices displayed and/or spoken the information or advertising about SHARP or third party.
Article 11 (Customer Responsibilities)
- Use of the Terminals, Applicable Devices, and Services are at the Customer's own responsibility.
- If use of the Terminals, Applicable Devices, or Services result in the Customer causing harm to a third party, or causes a dispute between the Customer and a third party, resolution shall be at the Customer's own costs and responsibility, unless SHARP can be deemed culpable.
- If use of the Terminals, Applicable Devices, or Services result in the Customer causing harm to SHARP, the Customer shall pay the requisite damages.
- If the Customer shares use of the App and Services with a third party (hereinafter, third parties shall be called "Other Users"), the Customer shall first assure SHARP that the Other User has agreed to this Terms, and shall take full responsibility.
- If the Customer comprises multiple users of Applicable Devices via the External Link Service, the Customer shall take full responsibility and shall first obtain acceptance of this Terms from all the users of the relevant Applicable Devices.
- If the Customer is a minor, the Service may only be used with the agreement of their parent or legal guardian, and the consenting parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for all Customer responsibilities determined in this Article.
- The Customer agrees that, as a result of the Updates, the functions of the software installed in Applicable Devices may be added, changed, or deleted.
- If the Customer does not consent to the Updates, the Customer may no longer be able to use all or part of the Service.
Article 12 (Deletion of User Registration and Ending Use by the Customer)
- The Customer may stop using the Service by uninstalling the App.
- The Customer may stop using the Applicable Devices with the Service at any time by implementing the designated procedures for canceling the User Registration for any Applicable Device registered to the Service. If the Customer implements the procedures for canceling the User Registration according to this Terms, the Customer will no longer be able to use the Applicable Devices with this Service.
- If stopping use of an Applicable Device that is registered to the Service for reasons such as handing off the device, you shall cancel the User Registration for the relevant device, and to stop using the Service. Additionally, if you have linked your Applicable Device to an external service, please disconnect that service from this Service. After that, please also initialize the Applicable Devices registered by the Customer.
- If multiple Customers are registered users for the same Applicable Device via this App, it is necessary to implement the designated procedures for deleting registration for all the Applicable Devices registered via the App.
- Customers can terminate the connection between this Service and External Link Service by following the prescribed connection deletion procedure for those External Link Services. If a Customer performs the connection deletion procedure, this Service will no longer be able to provide or use information from the deleted External Link Service. Even if you terminate your use of this Service, the provision or use of the Applicable Devices registered by the Customer information to the external service will not terminate. To terminate this, you must disconnect the link between this Service and the external service you linked it with.
- Even if the Customer uninstalls the App or deletes registration for the Applicable Device, data input by the Customer into this Service in relation to Applicable Devices shall be stored on the Servers and shall not be deleted solely by uninstalling the App or deleting registration for the Applicable Device. To delete such data from the Servers, the Customer must separately complete the designated procedures prescribed by SHARP.
Article 13 (Suspension of Use of the Service and Deletion of User Registration)

In any of the following cases, SHARP may suspend the Customer's use of the Service either in whole or in
part without prior notice, or delete their User Registration. SHARP shall bear no responsibility for
damages caused to either the Customer or a third party if such action is taken.
- If the Customer violates either this Terms or another agreement concerning the services linked to the Service
- If use of this Service by a Terminal or Applicable Devices registered by the Customer is less than 2 years
- If SHARP judges the Customer's actions to be in any other way unsuitable
- In the case that the reasons in Paragraph 1 apply, the settings of the Applicable Devices registered by the Customer shall be deleted, and the Customer shall become unable to use any other Services that they have also set. Further, SHARP may delete the Customer's user information.

In any of the following cases, SHARP may delete information pertaining to the Applicable Devices
registered by the Customer.
- If a request to delete the information for a registered Applicable Device is received from a Customer, family, or parent or legal guardian due to the loss or theft of the Applicable Device
- If a request to delete the information for a registered Applicable Device is received from a Customer, family, or parent or legal guardian due to information pertaining to the registered Applicable Device is used by a third party, etc.
- If a request to delete the information for a registered Applicable Device is received from a Customer, family, or parent or legal guardian for any other reason
Article 14 (Suspension and Termination of Service)
- In the case of force majeure such as natural disasters or war, etc., or if any other emergency occurs or there is a risk of its occurrence, or if urgent system maintenance and inspections are necessary, or if handling communications or equipment malfunctions is unavoidable, or for any other inescapable reason, SHARP may temporarily suspend or terminate the Service either in whole or in part without prior notice. SHARP shall bear no responsibility for damages caused to either the Customer or a third party if such action is taken.
- SHARP may terminate the Service either in whole or in part by notifying the Customer 60 days in advance.
Article 15 (Changing and Adding Services)
- SHARP may change or add to the Service either in whole or in part without prior notice.
- If SHARP judges that changing or adding to the Service either in whole or in part will greatly impact the Customer, SHARP shall notify the Customer of the details of the changes or additions using methods that SHARP judges to be suitable. Further, SHARP shall not be responsible for any damages incurred by the Customer to changes or additions to the Service either in whole or in part.
Article 16 (Notifying and Contacting Customers)
- As a rule, notifications and communications of changes, etc., to specifications of the Services shall be posted to the Support Site. If the communication is critical, however, displays may be posted to the Terminal that is in use, or e-mails sent to the address registered as the Customer's contact address.
- Notifications and information determined in this Terms shall be posted to the Support Site regardless of whether or not they reach the Customer, and shall be deemed to have arrived when displayed on a Terminal or an e-mail is sent to the address registered as the contact address.
Article 17 (Personal/Non-Commercial Use)
Unless otherwise specified, this Service is for personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any Content made available via the Service.
Article 18 (Prohibitions)
In using the Service, you must never implement the following actions. Further, SHARP may stop to provide the Service or take other suitable measures if SHARP judges that you have implemented or are at risk of implementing the following actions with regard to the Service.
- Breaching this Terms
- Actions that violate the law or public morals, or actions that are at risk of doing so
- Actions that injure SHARP or a third party, or actions that are at risk of doing so
- Actions that obstruct either the Service or SHARP activities, actions that damage the reputation of SHARP or a third party, or actions that are at risk of doing so
- Actions that impede the equipment used for the Service by SHARP or a third party or that impede the operations of the Service, or actions that are at risk of doing so
- Actions that use the Service by impersonating another party
- Actions that modify the Service, or perform reverse engineering (which primarily refers to analyzing the contents of the Service and converting them into a form readable by humans), reverse compiling, reverse assembling, or any other similar actions
- Actions that manipulate the information supplied through the Service, or actions that disclose supplied information to a third party without prior consent
- Actions that use the Service for commercial purposes etc.
- Actions that yield or loan the rights and obligations related to use of the Service to a third party either in whole or in part, or actions that are the equivalent thereof
- Actions that infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of either SHARP or a third party, or actions that are at risk of doing so
- Political activities, religious activities, criminal activities, or actions that are linked to such activities
- Actions that violate the terms of service of external services linked using the External Link Service
- Actions corresponding to those described above
- Any other actions that SHARP judges to be unsuitable
Article 19 (Exemption from liabilities)
- The Customer shall be responsible, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, for their use of the Service based on this Terms and, unless clearly stated by this Terms, SHARP shall not be responsible for the use of this Service.
- SHARP does not assure the normal operations of the Services provided or normal use in the future, or the ability to use the Service with Applicable Devices. Further, if the Customer incurs damage due to the Service not operating normally or being unable to use the Service, SHARP shall not be liable for any such damages to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
- SHARP does not assure normal operations of the Applicable Devices nor normal operations in the future.
- SHARP shall bear no responsibility, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, for damages incurred by either the Customer or a third party due to errors or insufficient management of the Service or Applicable Devices, or by illegal use by a third party, and the Customer shall indemnify SHARP and compensate for any damages if SHARP receives demands from a third party, etc., due to such actions.
- SHARP shall bear no responsibility, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, if the data set or registered to a Terminal regarding the Service by the Customer is corrupted, lost, or changed.
- SHARP cannot in any way assure the accuracy or conformance to specific objectives of any information, etc., acquired from the Customer through the Service. SHARP shall bear no responsibility for damages incurred by either the Customer or a third party due to this information, etc., and the Customer shall indemnify SHARP and compensate for any damages if SHARP receives demands from a third party, etc., due to such actions.
- SHARP shall bear no responsibility, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, regarding disputes such as rights infringement, etc., caused by information supplied via the Service between the Customer and another Customer or third party.
- If the owner changes due to the resale of Applicable Devices registered to use the Service, the registered Customer shall promptly implement the reporting or procedures designated by SHARP. SHARP shall bear no responsibility for damages caused by Customer tardiness in implementing the designated reporting or procedures, and the Customer shall indemnify SHARP and compensate for any damages if SHARP receives demands from a third party, etc., due to such actions.
- SHARP shall bear no responsibility (including the responsibility to restore lost or deleted information), to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, regarding any loss of profits incurred by the Customer due to the deletion of User Registration based on Article 13 Paragraph 1 (Suspension of Use of the Service and Deletion of User Registration).
- SHARP shall bear no responsibility , to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, for any damages incurred by other users or other third parties due to use of the Service without the Customer obtaining consent to this Terms from the other users, and the Customer shall indemnify SHARP and compensate for any damages if SHARP receives demands from a third party, etc., due to such actions.
- The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies, such as intent interpretation technologies and machine learning, in order to infer the Customer's preferences based on data input by the Customer into the Service. SHARP makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding the accuracy of such intent interpretation technologies or artificial intelligence technologies, the operation of the Service, or the suitability of the Service for the Customer's specific purposes, nor regarding the completeness, usefulness, accuracy, or reliability of the results obtained through use of the Service, and SHARP shall bear no responsibility in connection therewith. Further, any information generated through the use of artificial intelligence technologies does not represent the views, opinions, assertions, intentions, or positions of SHARP, any of SHARP's group companies, or their respective officers or employees.
Article 20(Limitation of Liability)
IN NO EVENT WILL SHARP AND/OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR USE OR OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, "HANDLING PERSONAL INFORMATION", THE SERVICE AND/OR ANY CONTENT PROVIDED THEREIN OTHER THAN LOSSES DUE TO THE NEGLIGENCE OF SHARP AND/OR ITS AFFILIATES. THIS PARAGRAPH SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY. YOU HEREBY RELEASE SHARP AND/OR ITS AFFILIATES FROM ANY AND ALL OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES AND CLAIMS IN EXCESS OF THIS LIMITATION.
FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, THE PROVISIONS UNDER THIS CLAUSE 20 SHALL ONLY BE APPLICABLE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS.
Article 21 (Handling Content)
- SHARP permits Customers the rights (which cannot be assigned or reauthorized) to the non-exclusive use of the Service for one purpose of use only. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights pertaining to the Supplied Content belongs either to SHARP or to a third party who has received permission for their use from SHARP. Use of the Supplied Content by the Customer beyond the scope of the use rights is prohibited.
- The Customer grants SHARP a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publicly transmit, transfer, translate, adapt, and otherwise utilize, in Japan and other countries, all information input, uploaded, or stored by the Customer through the Service (including, but not limited to, text data and image data), including all copyrights and other rights under the Copyright Act (including the right to sublicense such use to third parties).
- SHARP may review the data input by the Customer into the Service when SHARP deems it necessary to confirm compliance with applicable laws or this Terms. However, SHARP shall have no obligation to conduct such review.
- If SHARP determines that the data input by the Customer into the Service violates or is likely to violate applicable laws or this Terms, or if otherwise necessary for business operations, SHARP may, without prior notice to the Customer, restrict use of this Service by deleting such data or by other appropriate measures.

Article 23 (Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations)
You shall not assign, lend or otherwise dispose of your rights and obligations under this Terms.
Article 24 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Intellectual property rights pertaining to the Service belongs either to SHARP or to a third party who has received permission for their use from SHARP. The provision of the Service to Customers in accordance with this Terms does not mean that any rights have been transferred to the Customer.
Article 25 (Antisocial Forces)
SHARP refuses use to antisocial forces (criminal gangs, members of criminal gangs, and their associates) and any other such associates. If the Customer is judged to be an antisocial force or an associate thereof, SHARP will cancel their contract based on this Terms with the Customer, and stop all Customer use qualifications.
Article 26 (Changes to this Terms)
- SHARP may propose to change this Terms by posting updated Terms to the Support Site. If you do not terminate your use of this Service using the methods determined in Article 12 within 30 days after the date of such posting, then the change will be deemed to have been accepted by you.
- The conditions for providing the Service after this Terms has been changed will depend on the Terms after the changes.
- After the changes take effect, Customers using the Service shall be viewed as having agreed to the details of the Terms changes.
Article 27 (Severability)
If any provision of this Terms becomes void or unenforceable, this shall not render any other part of the Terms void or unenforceable. If a court deems a provision of this Terms to be void or unenforceable, such provision shall be narrowly interpreted to the extent necessary for it to become valid and enforceable.
Article 28(Force Majeure)
SHARP shall in no way be liable for any delay or failure in its performance to the extent such delay or failure is caused or is a result of acts beyond SHARP's reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, accident, riot, war, government intervention, terrorism, embargoes, strikes, labor difficulties, equipment failures, cyber attack by third party, system failure caused by third party, or any other causes beyond the control of SHARP.
Article 29 (Governing law and Jurisdiction)
- This Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan and shall be interpreted according to Japanese law.
- For any disputes between the Customer and SHARP regarding this Terms or the Service, The Osaka District Court shall be the exclusive court of the first instance.
Article 30 (Entire Agreement)
This Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SHARP concerning the use of the Service and supersede any and all statements or other agreements, whether oral or written, between you and SHARP. This Terms may not be altered, edited, supplemented or amended in any manner and any such alteration, edit, supplement or amendment shall be null and void, unless first agreed to by you and an authorized representative of SHARP in writing.
Article 31(Language)
This Terms is prepared in English or other languages. If there are any discrepancies among them, the English version shall prevail.

In this privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”), we provide information based on such laws related to processing your personal data. SHARP is a corporation engaged in technology, telecommunications, and related business activities.
3. Definitions
In this Privacy Notice:
- your “personal data” means any data which relates to you and from which you can be identified;
- our “affiliates” means our subsidiaries;
- “processing” means any activity or operation that is carried out in respect of your personal data, such as collecting, storing, using, transferring or deleting it;
- “APP” means the application for Target Device; and
- “Target Device” means SHARP brand appliance connected to wireless adapter or with a built-in wireless adapter.
4. How we collect your personal data and what personal data we collect
We will collect and process the following personal data about you (collected through your Target Device and your smartphone in which APP is installed).
Such information generally includes:
- your name;
- e-mail address;
- operation data such as sensor information;
- operation modes and history;
- product and supplies status;
- timer settings;
- power consumption;
- IP address;
- MAC address;
- GPS information; and
- country.
There may be circumstances where the provision of our service results in collecting other types of personal data from you. You may withdraw your consent by using the relevant account or APP settings, where available, or by contacting SHARP using the contact details set out in Section 2 or Section 14. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal. After withdrawal, certain functions or services may be unavailable where the relevant processing is necessary to provide those functions or services.
6. Disclosure of personal data to recipients
We may share your personal data with recipients in the situations described below:
- Internal Use for us: Employees of us or our affiliates who are authorized and need to access these data.
- Affiliates: We share your personal data with our affiliates for internal administrative purposes and uses that are consistent with this Privacy Notice.

We may also disclose your personal data to third parties as required by applicable law in connection with claims, disputes or litigation, when otherwise required by applicable law, or if we determine its disclosure is necessary to protect the health and safety of you or others, or to enforce our legal rights or contractual commitments that you have made.
- Business Transfers: Your personal data may be disclosed as part of a corporate business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, joint venture, or financing or sale of company assets, and could be transferred to a third party as one of the business assets in such a transaction. 7. Transfers of personal data outside your country of residence
The personal data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside your country of residence. It may also be processed by staff operating outside your country of residence who works for us, for our affiliates or for one of our suppliers.

11. Connection between Service Use and the Information Provided
When you use this service, it is necessary to provide your personal data to SHARP. Be aware that if you do not wish to provide this information, some function of the service may be unavailable and SHARP may not be able to process your personal data for the purposes set out hereof.
12. Handling if Acquisition of Applicable Device Use Information, Sensor Information, and External Use Information Stops
- If you delete the registration of an applicable device registered to use the service, or initializes the relevant applicable device, SHARP will stop acquiring your personal data for the relevant applicable devices, after such deletion.
- Even if your registration or registration of your personal data for the relevant applicable devices is deleted, SHARP may keep and use your personal data for the relevant applicable devices before such deletion.
13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
- SHARP may review the operating status concerning the handling of your personal data with the aim of better protecting your personal data or in response to changes in the law or other regulations, and may change the Privacy Policy without prior notice as necessary.
- SHARP shall notify you of the details after any changes to the Privacy Policy by posting to this support site, and will handle your personal data (including items acquired before the changes) based on the changed Privacy Policy to the limits proscribed by law. The details of changes to the Privacy Policy will take effect from the time the changes are posted to this support site.
