Sound Settings

Configure machine notification sounds and their volume.

Beep Sound Settings (Common)

Keys Touch Sound

Controls the key touch sound level, or turns the sound off.

Factory default settings:: Middle

Beep of Invalid Input

Control the volume of the sound, or turn the sound off at an invalid setting, such as when a number that cannot be specified is entered.

Factory default settings:: Middle

Reference Tone

This turns the sound on when changing the copy ratio or exposure, and the setting reaches the standard value (copy ratio 100%, exposure 3). Control the reference tone sound level, or turns the sound off.

Factory default settings:: No Sound

Copy Complete Sound

Control the copy completed notification sound level, or turns the sound off.

Factory default settings:: No Sound

Scan Complete Sound (Image Send)

Control the fax or scanner scanning completed notification sound level, or turns the sound off.

Factory default settings:: Middle

Powering Off Sound

Control the machine power off notification sound level, or turns the sound off.

Factory default settings:: Middle

Caution Sound Settings

Set whether to play a notification sound when the machine is in the following status.
Paper Empty, No Original, Jam, Toner Empty (Black), Toner Empty (Colour), Waste Toner Full, Output Tray Full, Stapler Empty, Maximum Number of Sheets that can be Stapled is Reached

Factory default settings:: Warning Beep: Medium, Paper Empty: Enable, Invalid except Paper Empty

Beep Sound Settings (Image Send)

Adjust the sound volume of functions used in fax and scan operations.

You can check the setting sound in the setting mode of this unit.

Fax

Set the sound for the Speaker, Ringer Volume, Line Monitor, Fax Receive Complete Signal, Fax Send Complete Signal, and Fax Communication Error Signal.

Factory default settings:: Speaker: Speaker Volume Setting:5, Ringer Volume: Speaker Volume Setting: 3, Line Monitor: Speaker Volume Setting: None, Fax Receive Complete Signal: Speaker Volume Setting: 3, Tone Pattern: Pattern 3, Transmission Complete Sound Time Setting: 3.0sec, Fax Send Complete Signal: Speaker Volume Setting: 3, Tone Pattern: Pattern 3, Transmission Complete Sound Time Setting: 3.0sec, Fax Communication Error Signal: Speaker Volume Setting:3, Tone Pattern: Pattern 3, Transmission Complete Sound Time Setting: Every 0.3 seconds

Internet Fax

Adjust the Fax Communication Error Signal and Fax Receive Complete Signal speaker volume setting.

Factory default settings:: Communication Error Signal: Middle, Fax Receive Complete Signal: Middle
