W-CDMA Mobile Multi Media Terminal (reference model)  SHARP has been chosen as the joint experiment manufacturer of this technology by the major carrier in Japan: NTT DoCoMo. It is currently conducting two live image transmission experiments by W-CDMA. One shows the compressed transmission of live image contents of contents server via the W-CDMA base station. The other demonstrations mobile TV conference using SHARP's ISDN TV phone. Conceptual models for which commercialization is aimed at in the near future are also exhibited here.

Demo 1Stock Price Information service for Mobile Terminals. This service transmits stock price information to mobile communicating terminals under a GSM network environment. Highly efficient service is provided, billing only for the time used because users can accsess the service anytime with no membership or monthly fees. Demo 2 Smart Form: Application Development Platform. Smart Form is a platform for developing HTML-based applications, enabling the easy development on a PC-base for value-added service and bussiness applications, in an open environment.
