Have functions been disabled by the administrator?
Some functions may have been disabled in the setting mode.
When user authentication is enabled, the functions that you can
use may be restricted in your user settings. Check with your administrator.

If files that you need have been deleted, consult
the administrator of the machine.
When [Automatic Deletion of File Settings] is enabled in the setting mode, the files
in the
specified folders are periodically deleted. (Even when the file

If the name was stored in the advanced transmission
settings before Quick File or File settings were configured, that
name will be used for the stored file. If the number of characters
in the name exceeds the maximum number of characters allowed for
a Quick File name (30 characters), characters after the 30th character will
be discarded. |

When you insert a USB memory device in the machine,
a message will appear. To scan to USB memory, tap the [Scan to External Memory Device]
key. The external memory device screen set in Easy Scan mode appears.
Place the original and tap the [Start] key to scan the document
into the USB memory device. You can select the [Perform Detail Setting] checkbox
to select detailed save settings. |
Did you select [Scan to USB] in [Local Drive/USB] of Easy Scan mode? |
