Sharp Corporation's outdoor-compatible A0-sized ePoster has been awarded the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at CEATEC AWARD 2024. This award recognizes outstanding technologies, products, and services that demonstrate high innovation among the submissions made by exhibitors at CEATEC 2024, taking place from October 15 (Tuesday) to 18 (Friday), 2024 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City.

The ePoster achieves display retention with "0W power consumption." Power is only required during the display rewriting process, showcasing its excellent energy-saving performance. It incorporates electronic paper technology from E Ink Holdings Inc.*, the world's leading company in the electronic paper field, delivering high visibility akin to paper and rich color representation.

The awarded outdoor-compatible A0-sized ePoster is configured by combining four A2-sized displays, allowing it to deliver high expressiveness and appeal in applications such as signage and advertising. Equipped with solar panels and a battery storage system, it operates solely on electricity generated and stored from sunlight for display rewriting, making it usable in locations without external power sources. In the event of a disaster, it can also be utilized for displaying disaster information and evacuation locations. Additionally, it is designed with waterproof and dustproof features, as well as high durability, to withstand harsh outdoor environments.
