Sharp announces the following changes in organization and executive personnel.
Since last year, Sharp has been focusing on its brand business and working on transforming its business structure. To further enforce this initiative, Sharp will reorganize its current four-business group structure into a two-business group structure, consisted by Smart Life Business Group and Smart Workplace Business Group effective April 1, 2025.
Additionally, as its CXO structure, Co-COOs will be appointed at both business groups, as well as a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) responsible for further developing new sales channels and a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in charge of promoting digital transformation. With these appointments, the roles of the executive officers will be clarified to establish a business promotion system to drive growth.
This will allow us to provide even greater value to our customers while also laying the foundation for achieving sustainable growth.
