Sharp Corporation will co-exhibit with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (hereinafter "Mitsubishi Chemical") (*2) at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) booth at The 41st Space Symposium, to be held in Colorado, U.S.A., from April 13 to April 16, 2026. Satellite communication user terminals currently under development will be showcased.
■ Exhibits
1. Ultra-Compact and Lightweight Satellite Communication User Terminal – Concept Model (Reference Exhibit)
An ultra-compact and lightweight concept model envisioned for installation on drones, vehicles, and other mobility platforms. Sharp is advancing development toward practical application in collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical, as well as NICT (*3) and TECHLABO (*4). By enabling deployment on mobility platforms, the companies aim to help secure communications links in mountainous areas and disaster-affected regions, among other potential use cases.

● For further information on the four-party joint development agreement, please see the news release announced on July 30, 2025 (https://global.sharp/corporate/news/250730-a.html).
2. Sharp's 5G NTN-Compatible LEO Satellite Communication User Terminal – Prototype (Reference Exhibit)
A prototype LEO satellite communication user terminal compatible with NTN communications leveraging 5G technology. Utilizing Sharp's proprietary beamforming and beam-control technologies, the terminal can accurately track LEO satellites that orbit the Earth at high speed. This enables the establishment of a stable network environment even in areas such as offshore locations where cellular coverage can be limited.

● This development is supported by funding from the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT). (Project ID: JPJ012368G50501)
■ Exhibition Location: Northrop Grumman Exhibit Center-Broadmoor Hall, Booth #111 (Colorado, U.S.A.)
