New  Reflective Display

Overview

Low power consumption display having unique reflection structure, and utilizing ambient light
as light source instead of back-light.
Low frequency drive utilizing IGZO (*), which is our feature technology, has realized.
further low power consumption.


(*) IGZO: Consists of In (indium), Ga (gallium), Zn (zinc), O (oxygen)
It is used as semiconductor material for TFTs (thin film transistors) that drive oxide semiconductor
displays, and has the feature of ultra low leakage current.

(1) High outdoor visibility (display brightness is linked to ambient light brightness)
(2) Low power consumption (no back-light is required, utilizing ambient light)
(3) Full color, video display possible
