ID Card Copy Setting

Set up an ID copy.

Original Image Type/Exposure Settings

Set the type and density of the original image.

Factory default settings:

Original Image Type: Text/Prtd.Photo, Exposure: Auto

Print Position Setting

Select an image layout.

Card Shot Settings

This is used to set the default original size for the card shot function.
Specify a value from 25 mm (1") to 216 mm (8-1/2") in increments of 1 mm (1/8") for both the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) dimensions of the original.

Factory default settings:

Original Size:X: 86 mm (3-3/8"), Y: 54 mm (2-1/8")

Default Tray Set

Specify the paper tray that will be initially selected for copying.

Factory default settings:

Tray 1

Auto Selects the Paper Tray that was Last Replenished

When this setting is enabled and paper is loaded into a tray while the machine is on standby in copy mode, that tray is automatically selected.

Factory default settings:

Disable

Disabling of Auto Paper Selection

Disables the Auto Paper Selection function.
When this setting is enabled, automatic selection of paper that is the same size as the original on the document glass or in the automatic document feeder does not take place.

Sets whether the rotate copy function is used.

Select Magnification Automatically According to Paper Size

The magnification is automatically selected according to the paper tray size.

Setting a Maximum Number of Copies

This is used to set the maximum number that can be entered for the number of copies (number of continuous copies). Select from “99” and “999”.

Factory default settings:

999

Scan Resolution Setting

Specify a standard resolution for scanning copies.

Factory default settings:

Colour: Document Feeder: 600x400dpi, Document Glass: 600x600dpi, B/W: Document Feeder: 600x400dpi, Document Glass: 600x600dpi

Initial Margin Shift Setting

This is used to set the default margin shift amount. Specify a value from 0 mm (0") to 50 mm (2") in increments of 1 mm (1/8") for both the front and reverse sides.

Factory default settings:

Side 1:10mm (1/2"), Side 2:10mm (1/2")

Erase Width Adjustment

This is used to set the default erase width for edge erase function. Specify a value from 0 mm (0") to 25 mm (1") in increments of 1 mm (1/8") for both edge erase and centre erase.

Edge Clearance Width:10mm (1/2"), Centre Clearance Width:10mm (1/2")
