You must install
the latest system update se300_v1011.exe
(or later version) before installing this
software. The
Add-in software requires 64KB available memory.
When you install the Add-in software,
the system creates a 128KB
Add-in area automatically, so you can install
another Add-in software program
in your SE-300. |

Download the file to your PC. |
| 2) |
Close any other applications
running on your PC. |
| 3) |
Run the self-extracting
file by double-clicking
it. |
| 4) |
Select the appropriate
COM port for your SE-300. |
| 5) |
Place the SE-300 in the
docking station. |
| 6) |
Click on "Install". |

Touch "Menu" and
then "Tools" to display the
Tools menu. |

Select "add-in".
The icon(s) will appear.
Touch the "CONVERSION" icon. |

The unit conversion screen
will appear. If
you want to use currency conversion,
touch the "CURRENCY" button, then
touch the "SETTING" button
to input the currency rate. |

Touch the pull-down menu
to select the units or currency. |
| 5) |
Input the data to the
A-field by touching
the numeric keys. Touch the "Solve" button
to display the result
in the B-field. |

If you want to change
the A-field to the B-field,
touch the A-B changing button. |

If you want to use another
application, touch
the application button. |

You can set the settings
by touching the "Menu" button. |

If you cannot select
the appropriate COM port
for your SE-300, you probably have Intellisync™
for the Sharp SE-300 running
in the background. Be sure to close this
program before attempting to run the
update
utility.
SHARP recommends that you
back up your SE-300 before installing
