Exhibiting at “CEATEC 2024” – Introducing Sharp’s Efforts to Contribute to ESG and Advanced Technologies like AI –

Sharp Booth at CEATEC 2024

Sharp is exhibiting at one of Japan’s largest comprehensive digital innovation exhibitions, CEATEC 2024*1, which is being held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba) from October 15 to 18(Tuesday to Friday).

CEATEC, hosted by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), is one of Japan’s largest comprehensive digital innovation exhibitions, held every October. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, CEATEC 2024 operates under the theme of “Toward Society 5.0.” The concept is to realize “Society 5.0” that balances economic development with solutions to social issues, we will bring together people, technology, and information from all industries and business sectors to envision the future through “co-creation”. This year, the exhibition expects participation from 600 companies/organizations and over 90,000 visitors.

This time, Sharp is exhibiting under the theme “AI-Powered Innovation”. The booth is divided into three zones: “Better QOL (Quality of Life)”, “Sustainability”, and “Carbon Neutrality”, where we propose advanced solutions, particularly centered around AI-related technologies, aiming for a sustainable society and a healthy life.

Each year at CEATEC, innovative products and technologies with strong potential for the future are awarded. This year, Sharp’s outdoor A0-size “ePoster” won the “Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award” in the CEATEC AWARD 2024.

◆ The “CEATEC AWARD 2024” honors innovative technologies, products, and services based on submissions from exhibitors. The award selections are made by the CEATEC AWARD 2024 judging committee from the perspective of academic/technical merits, market potential, future possibilities, and other aspects.
