MAKING COPIES USING THE BYPASS TRAY

In addition to plain paper, the bypass tray allows you to make copies on transparency film, envelopes, and other special media.

For detailed information on paper that can be loaded into the bypass tray, see " APPLICABLE PAPER TYPES". For precautions on loading paper into the bypass tray, see " LOADING PAPER INTO THE BYPASS TRAY".

A dialog box appears, if you want to change the settings, tap [Type] or [Size] in the dialog box and select the paper size and type.

To use the displayed paper type and paper size, tap the [OK] key.

Place the original.

Place the original in the document feeder tray of the automatic document feeder, or on the document glass.

Tap the [Colour Start] or [B/W Start] key to start copying.

SPECIFYING A TYPE AND SIZE OF PAPER LOADED ON BYPASS TRAY

Tap the [Paper Select] key.

COPY MODE

Tap the [Type] tab and tap the key for the paper type you set.

When the bypass tray detects the loaded paper, the screen for setting the paper type and paper size appears automatically.

Tap the [Size] tab, and tap the key that meets the size of the loaded paper.

Tap the [Direct Entry] key to enter a numeric value for the size of the loaded paper. After the settings are completed, tap [OK] key.
To directly enter a paper size
Tap the [inch] key to set a paper size in inches, or tap the [AB] key to set it in millimetres.
After entering the desired value using the numeric keys, tap the [OK] key.
